Smart Media Approach

To minimize waste, and maximize their ad dollars, MBI implemented a laser focused digital media campaign. Using mobile geofencing technology, we served digital ads to known shoppers of the 1,000 selected Kroger and Walmart locations, who recently purchased wine or wine alternatives. These ads were served while target consumers were in stores, as well as while in proximity to the stores.

Results

The brand's campaign achieved a 78% sales lift in Kroger stores and a 28% lift in the Walmart locations compared to the same period a year ago. The impressive outcome allowed them to expand the program into other retailers. and is a regular part of their ongoing marketing mix.
